Vision
 
UXL is a research organization dedicated to the promotion of user experience principals and methods. We believe that a user-centered focus should be the driving force behind any new product.
 
We expect the end user to be in the center of all decisions when designing and developing a product - in the beginning, middle and end.
 
Mission
 
We want to:
  • Think about the user's experience first.
  • Develop new ideas and ways of thinking.
  • Challenge assumptions that some areas of functionality are just too complicated to be simple for an end user.
  • Challenge assumptions that "the way we do it now" is the only way.
  • Move way beyond just "usability".
  • Provide insight and inspiration for the UX community.
